I think the word your looking for is Integrity. Doing something even though not everyone will notice.

I'm lucky because I do not get rude people very often and because I play with guildies most of the time.
But I had a very upsetting encounter once and perhaps it's for this that I remember it.
I was in a CoF run and someone started to scribble on the compass/map, for some unknown reasons they started to abuse me telling me to stop and calling me names.
I was in shock it was not me who was doing that, I never do that anyway, so I told them to mind their language and that it was not me.
The profanities that followed were so insulting and offensive that I had to leave the group!
First time that something like that happened to me and since then I am always fearful when joying a PUG.

Considering my lifespan in Guild Wars is quite short, I have not yet come upon any people of that sort. (I mostly keep to myself and PvE with NPCs).
However, I would like to point out that you guys should not take any of these aggressive remarks seriously. This is because of the fact that half of these idiots flaming in Guild Wars are none but 11 year old children venting their temper behind a monitor because they don't get any love in their social life.

QFT!!
Personally I can't really remember anyone being offensive against me, except lately when doing Fort Aspenwood (kurzic side) (while playing monk) and loosing, one of my teammembers whined in the team chat and the local chat @ the outpost afterwards, blaming the loss on me, the monk, for not being able to keep Gunther alive when the whole luxon team is bashing him (and me) ^^
People who whine on the monks instead of running amber/doing their job correctly makes me mad

I know what you mean =___=
Reminds me of the time I was the only monk on the kurz side and we got rolled...MM, turtles, the usual.. there were these two mesmers who had been chatting the whole game instead of fighting and running around outside doing godknowswhat when the luxons were rampaging in the green. So after the game they took turns flaming me. I was told that apparently:
1. I suck at monking lolol
2. that they could have done it soo much better
3. that my pvp monk's armor is ugly(????)
Cant remember the rest cause it was pretty long ago, but I hate it when people blame the monk who has the hardest job. Nowadays I preempt flamers by setting myself on offline so that they can't PM trashtalk to me

What I would like to know is how you sexuality came up in the first place. This sounds inappropriate on both sides.

You're right, but you're going to help kill it anyway out of the kindness of your heart. Thanks!
I love the pvp in this game, but sometimes I can't help but hate the pvp community.

Please tell me you're Mormon.
Or Amish.
Or a chick.
Or a Mormon Amish chick.
Because otherwise, I simply can't see how anyone could ask how the subject of sex can come up when you have a bunch of guys talking.

It could come up in many ways:
1) Simple curious chat that leads to talking about sexual preferences (I've tried getting into loads of chats where they asked what I find sexy)
2) Being accused of being gay which leads to the debate which leads to the confession
3) Just found out yourself and need someone to share it with but you're afraid how people in real life would react so you start on the chats
And etc.
Such chats are pretty harmless really, they can even be quite nice ^^ But of course it is inappropriate just randomly logging on and saying: Hey guys I'm bicurious which you should all know because I've had a crush on every single one of you! (such scenery is probably never goin to happen though)

Well it's the internet and we all want to be all big and bad, and we swear at other ppl and try to make them feel bad. That's why no one should give a damn. No one should take what people say on the internet seriously. But im hoping everyone already knew that already lol.

Integrity? what is that? Why are you using some ancient word that nobody even knows the meaning of? This is the 21st century. We have all moved past the need for integrity. Get with the times man. Jeez.
The spirit of the 21st Century is im going to take whatever i want from anybody i want, and if i have to trample you to death at walmart then so be it. Gimme Gimme Gimme
p.s. could you please drop your obsidian edge so i can get a screenshot?

Pugs will be pugs but I don't care I don't even play anymore or remember the occasional ingame jerks. They come and go. If I get the urge to play again I'll just play with friends.

el oh el.
The rudest person, or people I met was the Mending W/Mo in FoW armour-types who think of themselves as the heroic but actually attempt to cause emotional distress in their believers. They also cry a lot when, at any moment someone walks in and provides help to the opposing side and blame the person he was having a legendary 1v1 of failure with. Who cares, legendary battles are epic and cool and other stuff.

I lol'd at these type of people. Just wanted to say to these type of people: Congratulation for beating the internet. How about win real life now or keep deluding yourself thinking you're actually worth something because in the end, you didn't gain anything that's actually valuable. Everyone eventually quits a game one day and tell me what you gained after spending several years in a game for 15 hours a day?
"lolol loook at my pixelz armor, me = god. i bet u all wannabe me, u noobs"
But in reality, these people are lifeless twigs/fatass who needs to learn2life.
But anyway, I haven't met someone that made me yet. I personally think community here isn't bad at all. I either keep missing out on the rude remarks or maybe some people are too sensitive that I don't even notice it as "rude."

I remember playing through one of the missions in the Shiverpeaks, when I first started playing last year.
This guy who was leading the party proceeded to bash everyone in the group, claiming that everyone was noobs except for him, even when he died multiple times.
Whenever me and other people started talking back, he threatened to report us for the language, even though he was using words far worse than anyone else.
Needless to say, I was glad to leave that group.
